Professional Experience

Dr. Zaransky has over 30 years experience in Clinical School Psychology and Special Education.  He was the Supervising Psychologist in a Chicago area school district for 30 years where he supervised many Interns and Practicum students from Chicago area universities. 

He understands the complexities of school law and the
need for kids to have a fair minded Advocate on their side when they are not receiving the appropriate level of services.  Dr. Zaransky has extensive experience in all areas of Special Education, assessment, eligibility, etc., and has had a private practice for many years where he specialized in complex cases that often resulted in Mediation, Due Process Hearings, and Court Testimony.  

Dr. Zaransky has over 20 years experience as a Professor in 2 Doctoral programs in Chicago where he taught advanced assessment courses in the Clinical and School Psychology programs.  His experience in Conflict Resolution and Mediation further strengthen his skills as an Advocate.  

Dr. Zaransky can help Parents, School Districts, Agencies, Hospitals, Physicians, Attorneys, etc. arrive at the appropriate level of services and do it in a way that is in the child's best interest.
